Check the spam folder first — this is much the most likely cause, especially with Yahoo, Hotmail and Outlook. Marking it "not spam" helps future invitations get through. Failing that, ask your friend to send the invite by WhatsApp, or simply give you the six-character group code to type in yourself.
Make sure you're signed in with the same account. Your groups belong to your account, not to a device, so they should appear anywhere you sign in.
That is how it works, though it is a hard rule. Everyone gets one recorded attempt at each week's deal, so restarting forfeits it. A fresh challenge arrives every Monday.
Yes — always. Every game, weekly or ordinary, is drawn from a list of castles that a solver has proven can be completed, so a loss is never down to an impossible deal. This is a change: ordinary games used to be dealt at random, and about a third of those genuinely could not be won.
Every castle has a number, shown at the top of the game and in the web address. Reload the page to start it again, or tap Castle # to copy a link you can send. The weekly deal is deliberately left out of the address bar, so it cannot be shared before your one recorded attempt.
Only proven-winnable castles are dealt, so a number that is not in our library is declined and you are given one that is. The weekly deals are not in the library either.
The 👤 account button in the game → settings. It updates on your group leaderboards too.

No. The whole card game works anonymously. An account is only needed for the weekly challenge and for groups, because a result on a shared leaderboard has to belong to someone.
